Evening hire of the function room

The function room at Brinscall Sports Club is available for evening hire — birthday parties, celebrations, and other private functions. The room holds a maximum of 95 guests, with a licensed bar and access to the patio.

Hire costs

• Room hire: £75.00
• Deposit: £50.00 to confirm the booking
• Balance: £25.00 at least 14 clear days before the event

A refundable damage charge may also be required, depending on the booking.

Evening function times

The bar is open from 8.00pm to 12.30am. The club must be vacated by 1.00am. Please make sure your guests have left by the agreed finish time.

It is illegal for anyone under 18 to purchase or consume alcohol, or for anyone to buy alcohol for a guest under 18. Guests may be asked for proof of age.

How to book

Request a date using the function room booking form. Once the club confirms the booking, pay the £50 deposit to secure it. Online payments can be made to:

Please use your full name as the payment reference.

If you cancel with at least 7 clear days’ notice, the deposit is refunded in full.

Function room rules

• The pool room is for members only. Function guests cannot use the private members’ room.
• You are responsible for your guests and liable for any damage they cause.
• Guests using abusive, offensive or inappropriate language will be asked to leave.
• Bottles and glasses are not permitted beyond the patio tables.
• Smokers must use the outside areas, away from doorways.
• Guests may not bring their own alcohol.
• Please clear food, rubbish and decorations before leaving. Remove balloons in particular — they can set off the alarm sensors.
• The kitchen cannot be used for cooking. It may be used for light preparation or food warming, and must be left clean.
• Early access needs a committee member to unlock. You must then remain on the premises until staff arrive for opening.
